Partners Rich Yemm and Naveen Rahman Bhora Named 2022 DEIA Committee Co-Chairs

WR Immigration is proud to share that partners Naveen Rahman Bhora and Richard Yemm have been again named 2022 Co-Chairs for WR Immigration’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Committee, a program that celebrates differences, builds inclusivity, and lends support to our employees and communities. Under their leadership, the DEIA committee has helped to foster a safe and healthy environment for their peers while also spreading the important message of diversity and inclusion.

Confused About the I-9 Changes? Your COVID-19 Flexibilities and Other I-9 Questions Answered

As of July 31, 2023, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has ended the COVID-19 Flexibilities that permitted virtual inspection of identity and work authorization documents for the I-9 process. All employers that utilized this COVID-19 Flexibilities option are now required to re-inspect the identity and work authorization documents in-person or via a new Alternative Procedure by August 30, 2023. Additionally, a new version of Form I-9 is available as of August 1, 2023.
