Project Citizenship

Apr 5, 2021 | Community

We partnered with Project Citizenship and adopted three sessions in July 2018 to assist pre-screened clients with completing naturalization applications. Volunteers completed thirteen applications, helping to serve clients born in six different countries: Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Colombia, and Cape Verde. With the assistance of the volunteers, Project Citizenship was also able to complete fee waivers for eleven of the thirteen applicants, saving them a combined $7,975 in application fees. Helping make new citizens is rewarding work.
