On October 31st, 2022, Who’s Who Legal (WWL) released its 2023 “Thought Leaders” in Corporate Immigration with WR Immigration Managing Partner Bernie Wolfsdorf and Partners Audrey Lustgarten and Avi Friedman all being recognized.

WWL Thought Leaders: Corporate Immigration brings together the world’s foremost practitioners in the area. Through interviews with the practitioners themselves, WWL’s Thought Leaders guide aims to shine a light on what makes these lawyers the apogee of the corporate immigration world. In WWL’s own words, “[These leaders] are worthy of special mention owing not only to their expertise and experience in relation to some of the world’s most significant and cutting-edge legal mandates, but also their ability to innovate, inspire, and go above and beyond to deliver for their clients.” Wolfsdorf, Lustgarten and Friedman have all been recognized and included in this years edition.

WR Immigration Celebrates Charlotte E. Ray – America’s First Black Woman Attorney

As a part of Black History Month, WR Immigration is releasing a series of posts dedicated to highlight some of the incredible stories of exceptional people from the annals of Black History. Many are unfamiliar with the story of Charlotte E. Ray, Esq. – the first Black woman to become an attorney in the United States.  Ms. Ray was born in New York City in 1850 and was one of six children. Her father was a prominent Black abolitionist, clergyman, and journalist; her mother played the role of housewife and was devoted to the education of her children. A progressive upbringing instilled the virtues of courage, hard work, and justice in Ms. Ray, who went on to study law at Howard University, a private, historically black research university that was federally chartered during the Reconstruction Era. WR Immigration’s Boston Office Contributes to KIND Holiday Gift Card Drive

During the holiday season, our Boston office ran a gift card drive in support of Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal services to immigrant children.
