Mitch Montgomery is an Attorney at WR Immigration.  Mitch’s practice primarily focuses on employment-based immigrant, nonimmigrant, and naturalization matters.  He advises companies—from multinational corporations to local businesses, and in industries such as finance and technology—on immigration compliance, as well as immigration strategy and planning.  He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, serving on multiple committees for the AILA New England Chapter.

Prior to joining the firm, Mitch gained experience in representing low-income individuals in naturalization matters while serving as an AmeriCorps Legal Advocates of Massachusetts attorney at Project Citizenship, a nonprofit legal services organization in Boston, and now serves as a member of Project Citizenship’s Board of Directors.  Prior to practicing immigration law, Mitch clerked for the Hon. Louis A. Bledsoe, III and the Hon. Michael L. Robinson on the North Carolina Business Court, a specialized state court for complex business cases.

Mitch is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and graduated magna cum laude from Elon University School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the Elon Law Review. In his free time, Mitch enjoys spending time with his wife, dog, and two cats; reading; tending to his house plants; and cooking delicious vegan food.
