Kara is an Associate Attorney at WR Immigration, based out of the New York office, where she specializes in U.S. business immigration law. With a focus on employment-based immigration, she helps individuals and companies navigate complex immigration processes across various industries.

Prior to joining WR Immigration, Kara represented a diverse range of clients, from multinational corporations to small businesses, in cases related to non-immigrant visas, and PERM labor certifications, as well as managing all EB category petitions . She has experience in workforce strategy, offering practical solutions to meet her clients’ needs while conducting employer training on visa types and immigration regulations.

Kara earned her J.D. from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Pre-Law concentration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the NEW Roundtable and was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2019.
