Elham Ghaemmaghami is a Senior Associate at WR immigration with more than a decade of experience specializing in U.S. Immigration matters, including O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 National Interest Waiver petitions, family-based immigration, and applications for U.S. citizenship. Elham’s vast immigration experience includes delivering strategic guidance to Fortune 100 companies and employees in a diverse range of industries including information technology, social media, financial services, investment management, automotive, biopharmaceutical, and semiconductors. She brings her experience as a commercial trial attorney to the practice of immigration law in providing zealous client advocacy.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California Hastings College of the Law and externed with U.S. District Court Judge Edward Rafeedie at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a major in Political Science, International Relations emphasis, and a minor in Near Eastern Studies.
Elham’s government experience includes serving as an intern in Washington DC with the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, where she drafted letters of findings on national origin and religious discrimination complaints.
