Angelica Rice is a seasoned immigration attorney whose career spans both government service and private practice. She brings a uniquely balanced perspective to her advocacy on behalf of clients. Angelica began her career as an Assistant Chief Counsel with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS/ICE) in Los Angeles, where she litigated hundreds of cases before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). This government experience gave her rare insight into adjudication processes and an ability to anticipate challenges—skills that now strengthen her representation in litigation, removal and business immigration matters.
Following her government service, Angelica transitioned to private practice and quickly rose to leadership. Most recently, she served as the Supervising Attorney where she led a team of nine attorneys and managed a diverse portfolio of cases, including complex employment-based matters, removal defense and family immigration matters. She has a broad range of experience in both nonimmigrant and immigrant matters and experience in both removal and litigation matters.
Beyond casework, she is active in client outreach including with Chambers of commerce, Bar Associations and other continuing education programs. Since 2016, Angelica has been a member of the Florida Bar having earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law after graduating cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Criminology. Angelica is known for her combination of exceptional courtroom skills, strategic foresight, and business immigration expertise and she is deeply committed to providing clients—from multinational corporations to individual foreign nationals—with exceptional, results-driven advocacy.
Angelica is an Associate Attorney, continuing her mission of combining legal excellence, innovation and client-centered service to advance opportunities for businesses and individuals worldwide.
