SINGAPORE: 2020 Minimum Salary Increase for S Pass Applicants

The minimum salary for S Pass applicants will increase on January 1, 2020 to SGD 2400 per month, up from SGD 2300 per month. Fixed monthly allowances can be counted toward meeting the salary requirement. Note that more experienced foreign nationals may be required to hold a higher salary level that corresponds to their experience. 

The current minimum salary of SGD 2300 per month will apply to renewals for S passes expiring before January 1, 2020. Also, S Passes that expire between January 1 and June 30, 2020 are eligible for a one-year renewal under the SGD 2300 minimum salary level. 

The 2020 minimum salary of SGD 2400 per month will apply to all S passes that expire July 1, 2020 or after.
