Immigration Masterclass
A Practical Certificate Course in U.S. Employment-Based Immigration
Are you responsible for immigration at your company — but never received formal training?
The WR Immigration Masterclass is a structured, practical introduction to U.S. employment-based immigration law, designed specifically for professionals who support immigration as part of their role.
Whether you work in HR, People Operations, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition, Legal, or Operations, this course gives you the clarity and confidence to navigate immigration decisions in the real world.
Why We Created This Course
In our work with employers — from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 companies — we’ve seen a consistent pattern:
The person responsible for immigration on the company side usually learned on the job.
Most professionals did not set out to specialize in immigration. Yet they are expected to:
-
Support high-stakes visa decisions
-
Manage green card sponsorship programs
-
Advise stakeholders on hiring and compliance
-
Ensure I-9 compliance and mitigate risk
-
Develop or manage corporate immigration policies
All while learning as they go.
The Immigration Masterclass was built for that reality.
It provides a clear, organized framework for understanding how the U.S. employment-based immigration system works in practice — and how employers fit into it.
What You’ll Learn
The Masterclass is organized into six practical sections:
1. Key U.S. Immigration Terms & Foundational Concepts — Build a working vocabulary and understand how the system is structured.
2. Temporary Work-Authorized Nonimmigrant Visa Options — Understand common visa categories, how they function, and when they’re used.
3. I-9 Forms & Employer Compliance Responsibilities — Learn what employers are responsible for and how to manage compliance risk.
4. The Immigrant Visa Process (Green Card Sponsorship) — Gain clarity on PERM, I-140, adjustment of status, and employer strategy.
5. Recruiting & Hiring Considerations —Understand how immigration impacts hiring decisions and candidate evaluation.
6. Establishing a Corporate Immigration Policy — Learn how to build structure, consistency, and transparency into your organization’s approach.

Partner, WR Immigration
The Immigration Masterclass is led by Nate Grow, Partner at WR Immigration and a trusted advisor to employers navigating the U.S. employment-based immigration system.
Nate works with companies ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 organizations, helping them design and manage immigration programs that are both legally sound and operationally practical. His practice focuses on employment-based immigration strategy, nonimmigrant visas, green card sponsorship, compliance, and corporate immigration policy development.
Over the course of his career, Nate has worked closely with HR leaders, global mobility teams, in-house counsel, and executive stakeholders — and has seen firsthand the challenges companies face when immigration responsibilities fall to professionals without formal training in the field.
The Immigration Masterclass reflects that experience.
Nate designed this course to provide the kind of structured, practical foundation that most professionals never receive — but urgently need. His approach emphasizes clarity over complexity, real-world application over theory, and decision-making frameworks that employers can immediately use in practice.
Through this course, Nate brings the same thoughtful, strategic guidance he provides to clients every day — translated into a format that empowers professionals to lead immigration conversations within their own organizations.
