All Countries Currently Impacted by the Expanded U.S. Travel Ban

The White House has issued an expanded update to the U.S. travel ban, adding several new countries to both the full travel ban and partial restriction categories. Below is an up-to-date list reflecting the December 16, 2025 announcement, including both original countries and newly added nations.

This update builds on the original Presidential Proclamation that took effect on June 9, 2025, and significantly expands the scope of affected countries.

Countries with a Full Travel Ban

Nationals of the following countries are prohibited from entering the United States under both immigrant and nonimmigrant visa categories, subject to limited exceptions under existing policy.
