Lisa Yu specializes in corporate immigration matter ranging from nonimmigrant visas to permanent resident applications (green cards). Her clients range from multinational corporations in the financial and information technology sectors to hospitals and universities. Ms. Yu has developed a particular expertise in labor certification applications, immigrant visa petitions and adjustment of status applications.
Since 2011, Ms. Yu has been included annually in Who’s Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers. She was recognized for her excellence in green card applications in Chambers USA, a guide to the world’s leading lawyers. She has participated as an invited speaker at immigration law conferences for AILA and the King County Bar (Washington), and was a past contributor to the AILA Visa Processing Guide. Ms. Yu is an active member of the California State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Recently, she was selected for inclusion in the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®.
Ms. Yu has been with our firm since 2000. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1993. In 1996, she graduated with Dean’s Honor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Ms. Yu is conversant in Cantonese.
