Joaquin Torres Lopez is an Associate at WR Immigration concentrating on I-9 compliance, including internal audits.

Prior to joining WR Immigration, Joaquin practice centered on I-9 and E-Verify compliance systems. Joaquin also fulfilled several immigration roles, ranging from family-based immigration petitions to non-immigrant and immigrant business immigration petitions, primarily in the start-up sector.

In addition to his civilian career, Joaquin was prior-enlisted in the California Army National Guard and is currently serving as a Judge Advocate, where he provides support to a local brigade.

Joaquin earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California in Santa Cruz. He is admitted to the California State Bar and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Santa Clara Valley Chapter. In his free time, Joaquin is an avid runner and backpacker.
