Miki Kawashima Matrician is Co-Managing Partner of WR Immigration’s Boston office. Her practice focuses on managing all aspects of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant cases for multinational corporations, high tech companies, startup entities, hospitals, and nonprofit organizations. She advises clients on the development of corporate immigration policies, trainings, compliance, and risk management. She is rated by Chambers®, Super Lawyers®, and Best Lawyers® for her expertise in immigration law.

She is a member of the adjunct faculty at Boston University Law School, teaching a course on Business Immigration Law. Miki has held leadership positions with industry organizations at American Immigration Lawyers Association (National) as Elected Director and its New England Chapter (Immediate Past Chair 2025-2026, Chair 2024-2025, Chair Elect 2023-2024, Vice Chair 2022-2023, Treasurer 2021-2022, and Secretary 2020-2021). She is also very active on WERC Committees and at regional relocation associations. She enjoys presenting nationally at legal and industry conferences.

Miki is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Wesleyan University (Middletown, Connecticut).
