Phil Kuck is an experienced immigration attorney specializing in investment immigration and assists with EB-5 matters, federal court litigation, and immigration removal proceedings based on EB-5 related cases, including permanent resident cancellation of removal. He represents investors in all phases of the EB-5 process, including I-526E petition filings, adjustment of status (I-485), consular processing, removal of conditions (I-829), and responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs). Phil’s federal litigation practice has had successful outcomes in mandamus, declaratory judgment actions and with habeas corpus petitions. He also defends individuals in removal proceedings in U.S. immigration courts throughout the country. He was awarded the prestigious Utah’s Mickey Duncan Award by the ACLU for his work in protecting immigrants’ rights in federal court. He serves as Chair of the Utah Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University with his Juris Doctor degree and he served as Lead Articles Editor for the Georgia State University Law Review. Following graduation, Mr. Kuck was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Phil speaks, reads, and writes Mandarin Chinese.
