How WR Immigration Uses AI to Build a More Personal Connection with Our Clients.

By Charina Garcia, Strategy and Innovation Partner, WR Immigration

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s no secret that technology has become an integral part of our lives. From smartphones to artificial intelligence (AI) tools, technology has enabled us to accomplish tasks more efficiently and effectively than ever before. In the legal industry, AI tools like ChatGPT are changing the way immigration attorneys work. WR Immigration is proud to be at the front lines of innovation and utilizing ChatGPT is no exception.

ChatGPT has become a time-saving AI tool for WR Immigration that allows us to focus more on 1:1 interaction with our clients. While it will never replace the expertise of a licensed attorney, AI is allowing us to become more personable. ChatGPT can be used to create first drafts of letters of recommendation for extraordinary ability visas, motions, briefs, and responses to routine client emails. In addition, it can also be used as a practice management tool to create first drafts of conflict letters and collection letters.

But ChatGPT isn’t just a serious tool for lawyers. It has some creative and fun uses including providing immigration examples in the Star Wars universe. The use of pop culture references and humor in legal writing is not a new concept. However, ChatGPT takes it to the next level by generating content that is not only creative but also relevant to the topic at hand. Or a perfect set-up for a ChatGPT-generated limerick that mashes up the two complex subjects about the H-1B visa annual master’s cap lottery.

“In Silicon Valley, it’s clear,
The H-1B lottery’s near,
With fingers all crossed,
And fortunes embossed,
Some win while others shed a tear.
But for those with a master’s cap,
The odds are better, no need to flap,
Luck may just strike,
Their dreams take a hike,
And their career gets a head start lap.”

In conclusion, ChatGPT is a game-changer for the legal industry. It has the potential to save attorneys time and streamline their workflow while also providing a fun and creative outlet for their writing. Just as ChatGPT is a game-changer for immigration attorneys, so too is the AI that WR Immigration implemented in WRapid™, our award-winning immigration management software. Similar to ChatGPT’s AI tool’s ability to parse information, WRapid™’s artificial intelligence-based bot, WRosie reads government notices, emails, and immigration documents. Records are updated in real time with AI, improving data quality and saving time.
