Paul Chen has extensive experience in representing multinational corporations and startups in the software development, big data, fintech, autonomous driving, robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and real estate industries. Mr. Chen has successfully filed thousands of cases related to H-1B specialty occupations, L-1 and L Blanket visas, TN visas, E-1/E-2 visas, Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researchers and Scientists, Managers and Executives, and Entrepreneurs.
One of the top EB-5 attorneys, Mr. Chen has filed approximately 200+ Indian, Vietnamese, and Chinese EB-5 petitions. He supervises a large team of dedicated EB-5 professionals in providing detailed legal strategies, simplifying complex source of funds issues, finding compliant fund transfer methods, and filing accurate cases with the USCIS. Many of Paul’s clients have already passed through the final stages of the EB-5 program, including I-829 removal of conditions. Mr. Chen is one of the few attorneys in the United States who specializes in I-526 filings. He has worked extensively with industry leaders (securities and corporate attorneys, economists, and business plan writers).
As a native of Singapore who immigrated to Southern California, Mr. Chen is trilingual, fluent in English, Chinese and Spanish. He is an alumnus University of California – Berkeley, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law. Currently, Mr. Chen serves on the Board of the China Workshop Series and the San Diego Chinese Attorneys Association. He is also a legal advisor to the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Mr. Chen is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
While Mr. Chen is not practicing law or with a client, he is spending time with his wife and two boys in Dublin, CA. and policy.
