Duties: Apply principles of accounting in the analysis, identification, preparation and maintenance of accounting records and journal entries. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy and completeness. Perform accounts payable/accounts receivable analysis, lines of credit analysis and communicate with customers and suppliers. Develop new accounting systems and process flow and analyze financial activities of the firm. Analyze company growth metrics, profitability measures per lawyer, and business development effectiveness per program; and, analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, in order to project future revenues and expenses.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Must have experience with Excel (Vlookup, pivot table) sphere application servers, Excel Macros, inserting VBA, GAAP and financial ratio analysis, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as internal control requirements. Must have passed the CPA exam. *Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.
